The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

Personal identifiers, contacts, and characteristics (for example, name and contact details).

Candidates’ curriculum vitaes which may include their age, gender, ethnicity, religion, income, telephone numbers, emails, work notice periods, or any other information the candidate chooses to share in their curriculum vitae.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

Curriculum vitaes containing a plethora of personal information directly from candidates who want to work with us. This information is used to determine if candidates are a correct fit for the various job offers that our client’s present to us as well as to contact candidates to notify them of potential job offers and to contact them for other matters relating to their job search.

Business contact details – provided to us by clients or sourced via avenues in the public domain. This information is used to contact potential customers to notify them of the service we provide.

Third-party business contact details – our contractors that we are subcontracting to clients may be in a position where they ask third-parties for their contact details for the purpose of making introductions to our clients’ customers.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(b) We have a vital interest.

(c) We need it to perform a public task.

(d) We have a legitimate interest.

How we store your personal information:

Your information is securely stored on Google Drive cloud.

We keep personal information for 1 year. We will then get in touch with you to see if you’d like to have it updated, kept or removed. If your decision is to dispose of your information, we delete your data by wiping it off of our cloud servers.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
