Kadraa

Roles we place

Hire a SEO Specialist in South Africa

You can hire a full-time SEO specialist in South Africa who works your hours, in your tools, under your direction, for roughly 40% less than the true cost of the same UK hire. They contract with Kadraa rather than with you, so no employment relationship, employer's National Insurance or pension duty reaches your business.

Also advertised as: SEO Executive, SEO Manager, Organic Search Specialist, Search Engine Optimisation Specialist.

What a SEO Specialist actually does

  • Technical audits and fixes: crawl budget, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data and the migration work that quietly destroys rankings when nobody is watching.
  • Content and keyword strategy: mapping search intent to pages, finding the query families a site can realistically win, and briefing writers rather than guessing at volume.
  • Digital PR and link acquisition, or at minimum the ability to judge whether a link is worth having.
  • Reporting that connects rankings to revenue rather than presenting a position chart and calling it a result.

What to look for when you interview

  • Ask them to talk you through a site they took from A to B and what specifically caused the movement. Weak candidates describe activity; strong ones describe cause and effect.
  • A working understanding of how AI answer engines now surface content, not just classic blue links. This has changed materially in the last two years and plenty of practitioners have not kept up.
  • Someone who will tell you when SEO is the wrong channel for a problem. The ones who say yes to everything are expensive.

Why South Africa for this role

South African SEO talent is unusually strong because so much of the local agency market serves UK, US and Australian clients rather than domestic ones. That means English-language search, familiarity with UK SERPs and competitor sets, and experience reporting to overseas stakeholders on their timezone. Many of the specialists we place have spent their whole career optimising for markets outside South Africa.

How hiring one works

We source and shortlist against your brief, you interview and choose, and typically it is around 21 days from brief to a signed contract with a start date. Your consultant contracts with Kadraa, not with you, and we run the contract, the payroll, the foreign transactions and any HR matter. You pay one monthly fee from a UK registered company.

If it ever stops working out, you give one month’s notice and we start finding a replacement the same day, with no time limit and no replacement fee. Pricing is indicative until we know the role.

The next 30 minutes

Bring a role. Leave with its price.

Tell us what the role would pay in the UK and we’ll give you an indicative monthly fee on the call. Typical time from brief to signed contract is 21 days. And if the model doesn’t fit what you need, we’ll say so on the call.

  • 30 minutes, with a founder
  • An indicative monthly figure for your role, on the call
  • No obligation, no follow-up sequence
